Registration prices for Broadalbin-Perth’s second annual Color Run will increase by $5 after Friday, April 20. Currently, community members can register for the kids fun run for $15, and for the 5K run/walk for $25 per participant. All registrations must be completed using the online form.
Registration includes a race-day t-shirt, bib, color packet, temporary tattoos, and a bottle of water. Participants and spectators can purchase additional color packets, as well as kid and adult sunglasses, from the online race store.
The Color Run will take place on the new nature trail/cross country course at the Broadalbin campus on Saturday, May 5. The day will begin with a one-mile kids fun run at 9 a.m., followed by a 5K run/walk at 10 a.m. Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in both races.
All registration packets and purchases can be picked up noon-4 p.m. Friday, May 4, or starting at 7:30 a.m. on race day, Saturday, May 5.
Note, both races will be clock timed. Paid registration is not required for kids 3 years old and younger. Although strollers are allowed, participants should be aware that the course is not paved and should plan accordingly.
Race proceeds will support wellness initiatives for students at Broadalbin-Perth schools, including a district-wide Wellness Day, Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD), Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS) and post-prom activities.
