On Thursday, May 19, 25 Broadalbin-Perth High School students who participated in the “Horsing Around with the Arts” Student Art Show went on a backstretch tour of Saratoga Race Course.
The tour took about 90 minutes, and then the students visited the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame, where they were able to see their own artwork on display in the gallery. After the visit to the museum, they took bag lunches to historic Congress Park.
Art teachers Wendy Carroll, Crisan Anadio and Katherine Quackenbush-Blair accompanied the students. BPHS Principal Mark Brooks joined the group on the museum tour.
