Students at Broadalbin-Perth Intermediate School are working with technology teacher Allison Renda on a Google Expeditions Beta project called “Love Where You Live.” Through the project, students will create up to eight virtual tours of the Broadalbin-Perth community that they will share with other participating schools around the world. These tours are similar to the ones students experienced while studying Mars and the International Space Station.
Students and teachers already have some ideas about what they want to feature in the tours, but they’re interested in hearing from others in our community. Residents are invited to submit their ideas through an online form before March 16.
The students will create the virtual tours April 23 through May 4.
