Broadalbin-Perth proudly welcomed Coach Rich Johns and his Act with Respect Always Program at all four school buildings this week. This pay-it forward movement is designed to build respect, leadership, teach positive and constructive behavior, and help stop bullying before it starts.
Johns started Act With Respect Always during his 38 years of experience as an educator and tennis coach in Saratoga Springs.
“I strive to make everyone aware of their daily actions, looking at each person as a leader and stressing, kindness, love, acceptance, empathy, and honesty, amongst other key traits,” Johns said. “I hope others will join my pay-it-forward mission of respect and look to improve the world around us each and every day.”
During his visits to each of B-P’s school buildings, Johns left behind an Act with Respect Always banner. B-P students signed the banners in their respective school buildings and pledged to uphold Coach Johns’ mission.
