Thanks to a donation from the PTO, Broadalbin-Perth Middle School sixth-graders will attend Education Day at Joe Bruno Stadium on June 15.
The students will be participate in STEM and character education activities and watch a Tri-City Valley Cats game.
The buses will leave at 8 a.m.; chaperones should plan to be at the school by 7:30 a.m. to meet in the homeroom with their assigned teachers. (Teacher assignments will be sent home with your child.) The group will leave the stadium at 12:30 p.m. to return to school for 1:50 p.m. dismissal at the middle school. Chaperones will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the stadium and will not be able to transport students, as students must ride the bus. Any chaperone who is no longer able to attend should let the school know immediately.
Students will each receive a lunch ticket good for one hot dog, a cheese stick and a bottle of water. Students are allowed to bring one factory-sealed bottle of water and additional money to purchase other food at the stadium. No outside food is allowed.
Students should wear appropriate footwear, wear or bring appropriate clothing (sweatshirt/jacket), bring sunscreen, a hat, and wear a T-shirt with a B-P logo, if possible. If the game is cancelled due to rain, the make-up game is June 16.
