The B-P Jr./Sr. winter concert featuring students in grades 7-12 will take place at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 14 in the Margaret Robin Blowers Auditorium at the Jr./Sr. High School (100 Bridge St. Broadalbin, NY 12025).
The concert will be the students’ first in-person performance in almost two years (since March of 2020).
The public is invited to attend next Tuesday. Those in attendance will be expected to follow health and safety guidelines, including:
- Face masks must be worn at all times while inside the school building. No exceptions. Face masks will be available for anyone who needs one.
- Please maintain three foot social distancing
- Audience members should sit in designated approved seating, which will be marked to accommodate for appropriate social distancing. Family units will be allowed to sit next to each other.
Performances will all be holiday-themed (Feliz Navidad, Rocking Around The Christmas Tree, Sleigh Ride, All I Want For Christmas Is You, Grown Up Christmas List, and many others) and will feature the follow ensembles:
- Sr. High Jazz Band
- Jr. HS Chorus
- Jr. HS Band
- Sr. High Vocal Ensemble
- Sr. High Concert Choir
- Sr. High Concert Band
A reception will be held in the cafeteria after the concert, with hot chocolate and snacks for those in attendance, to the backdrop of Christmas carols performed by the Chamber Ensemble Club.
